"Look," said Dexter. "That must be a new kid in town."

"Why does she have a paper bag over her head?" said Fox.
“她干嘛在頭上套個(gè)紙袋子?” 小狐說(shuō)。
"Maybe she isn't very pretty," said Carmen.
“也許她不是很漂亮,” 卡門說(shuō)。
"Maybe she is shy," said Dexter.
“也許她很害羞,” 德克斯特說(shuō)。
"It isn't easy being a new kid," said Fox.
“新來(lái)的真不容易啊,” 小狐說(shuō)。
"True," said the others.
“那是,” 其他人附和說(shuō)。
"Hello there!" called out Fox.
“嗨,你好!” 小狐喊道。
The new kid stopped. She turned around.
新來(lái)的孩子停下來(lái),她轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)身。
And just then a big wind blew away the paper bag.
正在這時(shí)一整大風(fēng)刮過(guò)來(lái),把她頭上的紙袋吹走了。
