You should have a mind of your own.
你要有主見啊。
have a mind of one's own 這句習(xí)語就是：“有自己的意見、想法”的意思，也就是漢語里面說的：“自在主張，性格果斷”。因此，當(dāng)美國人說"You should have a mind of your own."時，他/她要表達的意思就是:"You should have your own opinions."、"You should make your own decisions."、"You should not get governed by the views or choices of others."。
