　　Don't try to pull rank on me.

　　pull rank on sb. 源自軍隊中級別較高的軍官利用職權欺壓下屬，所以這個短語的正確意思是：“仗勢欺壓，擺架子”。因此，當美國人說"Don't try to pull rank on me."時，他/她要表達的意思就是:"Don't put onairs."、"Don't ride the high horses in front of me."。
