背運的時候

A woman's husband had been slipping in and out of acoma for several months, yet she stayed by hisbedside every single day. When he came to, hemotioned for her to come nearer.

有一個女人，她的丈夫幾個月以來不時地陷入昏迷中，然而她每天都不離不棄地守候在他的床邊。他醒來的時候，示意她靠近些。

As she sat by him, he said, "You know what? You have been with me all through the bad times.

她坐在他身邊時，他說：“你知道嗎?在我走背字兒的時候你都在我的身邊。”

"When I got fired, you were there to support me.

“我被解雇時，是你給了我鼓勵。”

"When my business failed and I went bankrupt, you were there to comfort me.

“我生意失敗、面臨破產(chǎn)時，是你在旁給了我安慰。”

"When I got shot by a burglar, you were by my side.

“當(dāng)我被竊賊打傷時，是你一直守護(hù)照顧著我。”

"When we lost the house, you gave me support.

“當(dāng)我們失去房子的時候，是你支撐著我。”

"When my health started failing, you were still by my side... You know what?"

“當(dāng)我的身體每況愈下時，你仍然留在我的身邊……你知道嗎?”

"What dear?" She asked gently.

"I think you bring me bad luck."
