大部分人寫E-mail時(shí)，速度飛快，最后很爽快地就按下“send”鍵，無(wú)形中錯(cuò)誤百出。請(qǐng)從今天起，開始養(yǎng)成檢查的好習(xí)慣；因?yàn)榧词故呛芎?jiǎn)短的文句，都可能不經(jīng)意間就出錯(cuò)！

（×）We are looking forward to hear from you.

（○ ）We are looking forward to hearing from you.

這句話在E-mail文末最常出現(xiàn)，look forward to是“期待”之意，其中的to是介詞，后面須接動(dòng)名詞或名詞。

2 　謝謝您給我們的好建議。

（×）Thank you for all the good advices you have given here.

（○ ）Thank you for all the good advice you have given here.

advice是“忠告、建議”，是不可數(shù)名詞，不管有多少忠告，都是advice，不加s。

3 　7月22日舉辦的那場(chǎng)會(huì)議，討論了為顧客開立發(fā)票的新程序。

（×）Meeting was held on July 22 to discuss new procedures for invoicing customers.

（○ ）A / The meeting was held on July 22 to discuss new procedures for invoicing customers.

meeting是可數(shù)名詞，前面須加冠詞，有限定時(shí)加the，沒(méi)有限定時(shí)加a。

4 　根據(jù)我們最近的討論，我想要為您示范這個(gè)新的機(jī)型。

（×）With refer to our recent discussion, I would like to demonstrate this new model for you.

（○ ）With reference to our recent discussion, I would like to demonstrate this new model for you.

with是介詞，后面須接名詞，所以refer須更正為reference。

5 　那些外國(guó)工人擁有生產(chǎn)我們產(chǎn)品所需的專業(yè)技能嗎？

（×）Do those foreign workers have the necessary experience to produce our products?

（○ ）Do those foreign workers have the necessary expertise to produce our products?

“專門技術(shù)”的英文是expertise；experience指的是“經(jīng)驗(yàn)”，兩者請(qǐng)勿混淆。
