The author took to the comments section of his LiveJournal blog to set the record straight about whether the Night's King mentioned in the novels and the White Walker leader who's made two appearances on "Game of Thrones" are one and the same.
原著作者明確的在自己的LiveJournal博客中直白指出,在小說(shuō)中提到的異鬼之王和現(xiàn)在劇中出現(xiàn)了兩次的那個(gè)就是一個(gè)。
"In the books he is a legendary figure, akin to Lann the Clever and Brandon the Builder, and no more likely to have survived to the present day than they have," he writes.

For years "A Song of Ice and Fire" fans have speculated about who the Night's King in the books could be.
