睡也還醒，
醉也還醒，
忽聽孤鴻三兩聲。
人生只似風(fēng)前絮，
歡也飄零，
悲也飄零，

The drum sounds from the high city wall as he lampwick burns out.
Asleep, yet awake;
Drunk, yet sober—
Suddenly I hear the two or three notes of a wild goose's lone cry.
Life is no more than willow catkins in the wind:

All turn to patches of duckweed spreading on the river.
