| O swift on the seas all day and night |
|
在海面疾馳，不分晝夜， |
| Saileth the rover Sorrow, |
|
疾馳的流浪的憂傷 |
| All day and night.' |

| ‘What do you weave with wool so white?' |
|
“你織的什么，用潔白的羊毛?” |
| ‘I weave the shoes of Sorrow： |

| Soundless shall be the footfall light |
