Roy had felt annoyed all day long. No matter how much he tried to avoid thinking it, he couldn’t. The feeling of being misunderstood is overwhelming.
But every once in a while he’d hear that small inner voice trying to reassure him, “Roy, Don’t worry about it. You aren’t the first boy to destroy the toys your parents bought for you. You are quite right to make your own choice. You should enjoying your life and do whatever you like, do not spoil yourself as before. Your teacher has pointed a right way for you and you should join the team and do things according to your interest. So whatever is your choice, believe yourself and try it.”
But invariably the other voice would oppose.“ Your parents are right. They will not spoil you by these toys. They just want to give you a happy life. You should take their advice and do not hurt their heart.”
“What should I do, to obey my parents or join the team? ” Roy sighed.
