美眾院通過短期調(diào)高債務(wù)上限法案

The US House of Representatives on Tuesday approved a bill to increase the nation's borrowing limit in the short term to avert a looming debt default, sending it to President Joe Biden's desk for his signature.

美國國會眾議院10月12日通過一項(xiàng)短期調(diào)高聯(lián)邦政府債務(wù)上限的法案，暫時(shí)避免政府債務(wù)違約風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。由于參議院上周已通過這項(xiàng)法案，該法案隨后將遞交總統(tǒng)拜登簽署生效。

The House voted 219-206 along party lines to adopt a procedural rule, which automatically deemed as passed the short-term debt limit extension that the Senate approved last week.

眾議院以219票贊成、206票反對的結(jié)果批準(zhǔn)了一項(xiàng)有關(guān)法案辯論的程序性規(guī)則，這意味著，短期調(diào)高債務(wù)上限的法案自動(dòng)獲得眾議院批準(zhǔn)。

The temporary measure would raise the federal government's debt limit by $480 billion, which would allow the US Treasury Department to meet obligations through Dec 3.

該法案將暫時(shí)調(diào)高債務(wù)上限約4800億美元，確保美國財(cái)政部可履行支付義務(wù)至12月3日。
