日本公主放棄皇室身份，只為和平民結(jié)婚

Japan's Princess Ayako married commoner Kei Moriya on Monday at the famous Meiji Shrine in Tokyo Monday. Around 1,000 supporters showed up to cheer them on, yelling, “Banzai,” signifying wishes for a long life.

周一，日本公主絢子同平民守谷慧在東京的明治神宮舉辦婚禮。在場(chǎng)有大約1000名支持者，朝著他們大喊：“百歲，”是祝愿長(zhǎng)壽的意思。

But in order for them to wed, the princess had to give up her status as a member of the imperial family.

為了兩人能夠結(jié)婚，這位日本公主不得不放棄皇室的身份。

Moriya, 28, is a commoner who works at the shipping company Nippon Yusen KK. Because he lacks royal or aristocratic family members, Princess Ayako must give up her title, status, and even money to marry him—something male royals do not have to do if they marry female commoners.

今年28歲的平民——守谷，在日本宇森KK船務(wù)公司工作。由于其沒(méi)有皇親貴族的家庭成員，絢子公主不得不放棄自己的頭銜，身份甚至是錢(qián)來(lái)和他結(jié)婚——不過(guò)如果是皇室男子要和平民女結(jié)婚卻不必要這樣做。

Now that she has given up her royal status, she will receive a lump sum of $950,000 for living expenses.

現(xiàn)在她放棄了皇室身份，不過(guò)她得到了95萬(wàn)美金的巨款，作為生活費(fèi)用。

Princess Ayako wore a yellow uchiki kimono with pink flowers and green leaves, a look similar to what her sister, Princess Noriko, wore at her wedding in 2014.

絢子公主穿著一件黃色的和服，上面有粉色花朵和綠色花葉，和他姐姐典子公主2014年出嫁的時(shí)候穿的有些類(lèi)似。

The wedding was a private ceremony, but the couple spoke to reporters after it ended. "I would like to support her firmly and, hand in hand, build a happy family with lots of laughter,” Moriya said. "I am awed by how blessed I am," Ayako added. "I will leave the imperial family today, but I will remain unchanged in my support for his majesty and her majesty.”

婚禮雖然是私人儀式，但是這對(duì)新人婚禮結(jié)束之后還是接受了記者的采訪。“我會(huì)矢志不渝的支持她，手拉手共建幸福家庭，還要好多好多的女兒，”守谷說(shuō)道。“非常感謝收到的祝福，我今天就會(huì)離開(kāi)皇室，但是我還是會(huì)一如既往支持皇室。”
