梅根·特瑞娜(Meghan Trainor)，出生于1993年12月22日，是一位美國歌手，詞曲作者和唱片制作人，出生于馬薩諸塞州的楠塔基特島，她在音樂家庭中成長，從11歲起就開始寫歌。她13歲時(shí)，父母送了她一臺電腦，她便用電腦制作自己的歌曲。17歲時(shí)，梅根參加了杜蘭戈州作曲家博覽會，在那里她認(rèn)識了NRBQ樂隊(duì)的Al Anderson，而后者又將其介紹給了Big Yellow Dog Music的Carla Wallace。在她18歲生日后不久，還是高中生的她便作為詞曲家與Big Yellow Dog Music簽下了合約。2011年2月4日，梅根發(fā)布了自己創(chuàng)作的獨(dú)立專輯《I'll Sing With You》。她去各個(gè)城市邊旅游邊寫歌，洛杉磯，加利福尼亞，紐約市，紐約，納什維爾，都有她的足跡。19歲時(shí)，她在納什維爾住了下來，和Rascal Flatts, Sabrina Carpenter等人一同創(chuàng)作。同年9月14日，她發(fā)行了獨(dú)立音樂碟《Only 17》。

在梅根的一次旅行中，她認(rèn)識了曾被格萊美提名的制作人Kevin Kadish，并和他一起寫歌。就是這時(shí)，大熱的歌曲《All About That Bass》誕生了。這首歌的歌詞諷刺了人們追求所謂身材的誤區(qū)，告訴大家胖也是一種美。原本，許多歌手對演唱這首歌都抱有興趣，但是當(dāng)聽過梅根自己唱的Demo之后，L.A. Reid決定將她簽入Epic Records并讓她自己演唱這一首歌。

很快，梅根的出道神曲《All About That Bass》一路爆紅，迅速沖到了iTunes熱度榜的第一名，在Billboard排行榜也取得了第一名的好成績。

伴隨著這首歌的巨大成功，梅根的第三張專輯《Title》已于2014年9月9日發(fā)行。
