The coffee giant has already run successful pilot schemes in several US cities, delivering products to customers in partnership with Uber Eats.

London will be the first European city to trial Starbucks Delivers. The pilot scheme will involve a small number of company-operated stores in the capital, with the potential of rolling the option out to licensees .

“We know we have untapped customer demand for Starbucks Delivers,” said Roz Brewer, chief operating officer for Starbucks.
