職場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)日記 第30篇：約會(huì)讓人緊張

sean has been leaving messages for me at home and i finally sent him an email. he called me about 3 minutrs aftre i clicked “send" so he must have been working at his computer, too. we talked for a minute, bue i was really busy and distracted by all the work i n=have to do today.

西恩不斷在家里的電話里留言，我終于發(fā)了封電子郵件告訴他我的工作電話。結(jié)果“發(fā)送”鈕才按下三分鐘他就打來了，看來他也是一直在電腦前工作。我們只聊了幾句，因?yàn)榻裉旃ぷ鲗?shí)在是太忙了，我都快被搞瘋了。

i still feel unsure about going on a date with him but i am going to take everyone's advice and get to know him a bit before dismissing him entirely. i told him that i couldn't really talk today because of my deadline and he told me not to worry, he would call me back later in the week.

要不要和他約會(huì)我還是不確定，不過我會(huì)接受大家的忠告，先多了解他一點(diǎn)再?zèng)Q定是否完全不考慮和他交往。我告訴他是因?yàn)橥瓿晒ぷ鞯淖詈笃谙藓芫o迫，今天沒什么空打電話，他叫我不用擔(dān)心，這星期會(huì)再打電話給我。

i like that he isn't pushy. that's one good thing about him. also, if chris and ien like him, then he can't be too bad. i wonder if i a just making excuse because i have been single for so long and the idea of dating again makes me a bit neryous.

他不會(huì)死纏爛打，這點(diǎn)我很欣賞，確實(shí)是一項(xiàng)優(yōu)點(diǎn)。另外，如果克里斯和珍都喜歡他，那他就應(yīng)該不會(huì)太差才對(duì)。我懷疑自己會(huì)不會(huì)只是在找借口而已，因?yàn)閱紊硖昧?，想到又要約會(huì)多少會(huì)有點(diǎn)緊張。
