accept，receive，admit，take

accept: 強(qiáng)調(diào)主動(dòng)地或自愿地接受，或者說(shuō)，經(jīng)過(guò)考慮后同意接受。

receive: 著重僅僅接到或收到這一結(jié)論或事實(shí)，而不含采取主動(dòng)或積極行動(dòng)的意思。

admit: 作“接受”講時(shí)，強(qiáng)調(diào)準(zhǔn)許或批準(zhǔn)。

take: 與receive同意，是receive的日常用法，側(cè)重不帶主觀意愿地收下或接受。

【詞語(yǔ)用法】

receive與accept的區(qū)別：

receive意為“收到”，表示客觀的，accept意為“接受”，表示主觀的。

當(dāng)accept a gift時(shí)，表示接受了禮物，不會(huì)再退回，而receive a gift時(shí)，只是收到了禮物，可能還會(huì)退回。

receive只是一時(shí)的動(dòng)作，因此不能說(shuō)I have received your letter 3 days.應(yīng)該改為It is 3 days since Ireceived your letter;

receive from/of的意思是“從某處或某人那收到(款項(xiàng))”，如received from/of Sam seven pounds;
