Since the appearance of post-1980s literature in the start of 21st century, it has aroused great attention and arguments among people. In someone's opinions, the keyboard becomes a medium of expression for the young writer's rebelliousness(叛逆). It allows them to give voice to feelings of youthful romance, desire and ambition, as well as isolation(孤獨(dú),與世隔絕), confusion and frustration.

Some critics even express their concerns that the cynical(憤世嫉俗的) attitudes towards life expressed by the post-1980s writers might have negative effects on young readers.

However, despite these worries and doubts, we have to admit that the post-1980s writers have stepped into the literary world, with a large group of readers and supporters.
