　　看到友人對(duì)感情不忠，或是參加一項(xiàng)考試臨時(shí)抱佛腳，由于未能妥善經(jīng)營(yíng)或充分準(zhǔn)備，導(dǎo)致分手或失敗，這時(shí)可引用本句，意謂“一切皆已太遲了”，我們有時(shí)可說(shuō)成“It's too late to do anything about that.”(做任何補(bǔ)救，皆已無(wú)濟(jì)于事了。)
