一派胡言!

a lot of bull 在美國(guó)是一條非常流行的罵人口語(yǔ)，最開(kāi)始從黑幫流傳出來(lái)的，這里的bull事實(shí)上原本是bullshit，即“瞎扯，胡說(shuō)”的意思，所以這條口語(yǔ)的正確意思是：“一派胡言，胡扯，胡說(shuō)八道”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"That's a lot of bull!"時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"What you've just said is sheer nonsense!"、"Your opinion is all my eye!"、"That's sheer rubbish!"。
