你說(shuō)得一點(diǎn)沒(méi)錯(cuò)。

hit the nail on the head 字面意思是：“敲釘子的釘帽”，木工敲釘子時(shí)，正敲在它扁平的頂上，才能釘?shù)们〉胶锰帯＿@個(gè)短語(yǔ)引申而來(lái)的意思是“恰到好處，正中要害，一針見(jiàn)血”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"You hit the nail on the head!"時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"You hit the point!"、"You are right about this!"。
