　　I can hook you up.

　　我可以幫你牽線。

　　hood sb. up直譯過(guò)來(lái)就是：“把某人掛起來(lái)”，這個(gè)短語(yǔ)的正確意思是：“把某人介紹給某人”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō):"I can hook you up."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"I can act as the go-between."、"I canintroduce you to someone else."。
