63. A Geography Group 參加地理小組

Last term I took part in a geography research study group. Our topic was environmental pollution and protection. We took a variety of pictures showing the present pollution conditions of our city.

上學(xué)期我參加了地理小組的研究性學(xué)習(xí)。我們研究的課題是：環(huán)境污染與環(huán)境保護(hù)。在研究過程中我們還拍了大量的照片，借以反映目前城市環(huán)境的污染情況。

To our surprise, there are still a lot of people doing silly things to our surroundings. Some people throw rubbish anywhere they like; some cars give off harmful gases. What surprises us most is that waste water is poured into rivers by some factories. Worse still, people sometimes have to make their way through dusty winds as a result of the pollution.

使我們感到驚訝的是：有很多人仍然在對(duì)我們的環(huán)境做一些愚蠢的事。一些人隨意扔垃圾，小汽車排放出很多廢氣。最使我們震驚的是一些工廠竟然把污水排放到河流里。更糟糕的是，由于環(huán)境的污染，人們有時(shí)候不得不行走在塵土飛揚(yáng)中。

Through our research, we come to realize that everybody must pay much attention to our environment. Some measures should be taken to protect it. And to be exact, it is high time to take measures to protect it.

通過我們的研究，我們逐漸認(rèn)識(shí)到每個(gè)人都應(yīng)該關(guān)注我們的環(huán)境。應(yīng)該采取措施保護(hù)環(huán)境。確切地說，采取措施保護(hù)環(huán)境已經(jīng)迫在眉睫了。
