49. The Earth Day 世界地球日

April 22th is the earth day. Our school organized a lot of activities to improve our environment.

四月二十二日是世界地球日，我們學(xué)校組織了許多活動(dòng)來改善我們的環(huán)境。

In the morning some of us planted trees. Some picked up rubbish in the neighborhood or parks. Most of us also gave money to organizations that help to save forests and endangered animals. Several groups of the students went to the streets, telling the passersby how seriously our earth is damaged. Many rain forests are disappearing. A lot of wild animals are killed.

在上午，一些學(xué)生去種樹;一些學(xué)生去附近的公園撿垃圾;我們大多數(shù)人都給幫助保護(hù)森林和瀕臨滅絕動(dòng)物的組織捐獻(xiàn)了錢;好幾組學(xué)生還到大街上，向過往的行人宣傳我們的地球現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)被破壞得多么嚴(yán)重，其中，熱帶雨林正在銳減，許多動(dòng)物正在被殺害。

By doing all these we would like everybody to know that we have only one earth and we should protect it. Saving the earth is saving ourselves!

通過做這些活動(dòng)，我們是想讓每一個(gè)人都知道：我們只有一個(gè)地球，我們應(yīng)該保護(hù)它。保護(hù)我們的地球就是保護(hù)我們自己!
