良好的第一印象
A young doctor was just setting up his first office.He had just rented a beautiful office and had itfurnished with equipment and fittings.
一個(gè)年輕醫(yī)生剛剛開設(shè)了自己的第一家診所。他剛剛租下一間漂亮的辦公室,并布置好器具陳設(shè)。
Then his secretary told him there was a man too seehim. The doctor wanted to make a good first impression by having the man think he wassuccessful and very busy. He told his secretary to show the man in.
這時(shí)秘書告訴他有人找他。年輕人想給來人一個(gè)良好的第一印象,使人認(rèn)為自己是工作繁忙的成功人士。他讓秘書把來人領(lǐng)進(jìn)來。
At that moment, the doctor picked up the telephone and pretended to be having aconversation with a patient. The man waited silently until the "conversation" was over. Then,the doctor put the telephone down and asked the visitor, "Can I help you?"
這時(shí),他自己拿起話筒,假裝在和病人通電話。那個(gè)人一聲不吭地等他把“電話”打完。然后,醫(yī)生放下話筒問道:“你要看病嗎?”
To which the man replied, "No, I'm just here to connect your telephone."
那個(gè)人回答:“不,我是來給你接電話線的。”
