26 陰差陽(yáng)錯(cuò)的電子郵件
A tobacconist left the snowy streets of Chicago for avacation in Florida. His wife was on a business tripand intended to meet him there the next day. Whenhe reached the hotel and checked in the room that hereserved three days ago, he decided to send his wifea quick e-mail. But he had deleted her e-mailaddress from his computer. He stared at thekeyboard and made an effort to type in it frommemory.
一個(gè)煙草商人離開了滿大街白雪的芝加哥前往佛羅里達(dá)度假。他的夫人正在出差,計(jì)劃第二天在佛羅里達(dá)與他相見。抵達(dá)賓館后,他住進(jìn)三天前預(yù)定的房間,決定給他夫人發(fā)一封電子郵件。但他之前把妻子的電子郵件地址從電腦里刪除了,于是他盯著鍵盤努力回憶,憑記憶打出她的地址。
Unfortunately, he missed one letter and his note was directly instead to an elderly preacher'swife whose husband had passed away only the day before. When the mournful wife turned onthe computer to check her e-mail, she took one look at the monitor, let out a scream, feltdizzy and fell to the floor in a dead faint. At the sound, her family rushed into the room andsaw this note on the screen:

"Dearest wife, just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
“最親愛的夫人,剛剛住進(jìn)來,一切就緒,等待明天你的到來。”
