第13單元 沙恩的挑戰(zhàn)
Shane was the smallest in his Brazilian Jiujitsu class. He knew that shouldn't matter but he still sometimes found himself wishing he was taller and stronger.His instructor taught him moves that worked well with his size, but even though, he trained hard he just couldn't beat the bigger guys.
沙恩是巴西柔道班上最矮的學生，他知道這沒有什么大不了，可是他有時候還是希望自己又高又壯。教練教他些動作適合身材較小的人，可是不管他多么幸苦訓練，他還是沒辦法打敗比他身材高大的學生。
He was frustrated and almost quit, but his instuctor encourged him to keep going.One day, when he got to class, he saw a sign up sheet for an upcoming tournament.
他很沮喪，幾乎想放棄，可是教練鼓勵他堅持下去。有天他去上課，看到即將到來的比賽報名表。
Shane wanted to compete, but he was too nervous. His teacher convinced him sign up. Shane trained everydy until the tournament.Finally, the day arrived. At the competition, Shane saw the guy he was going to fight. Shane and he were the same size! This made Shane feel a bit better, but he still knew that he had to do his best. The fight began, and Shane fought hard. He won two out of his three matches. When the fights were over, and the judges added up each opponent's score, shane won!
沙恩很想?yún)①悾墒撬芫o張，老師說服他參加。到比賽前，沙恩天天訓練。終于到了比賽當天，沙恩在比賽中看到他的對手，和他身高一樣!沙恩覺得好多了，不過他也知道他得全力以赴。比賽開始沙恩很拼命，三場比賽下來他勝了兩場，當比賽結(jié)束前，裁判加總兩個選手的的得分，沙恩贏了!
