Naomi: Stop! Stop!

娜奧米：停!停!

Omar: What’s the matter?

奧馬爾：怎么了?

Naomi: My bike is making a strange sound.

娜奧米：我的自行車出了個怪聲。

Omar: What kind of sound?

奧馬爾：哪種聲音?

Naomi: It’s a clanging sound followed by a hissing or buzzing noise. I need to pinpoint where it’s coming from.

娜奧米：先是嘶嘶和嗡嗡的聲音，然后是哐當哐當?shù)穆曇簟?我得看看是哪兒發(fā)出來的聲兒?

Omar: Walk your bike and we’ll both listen, you on one side and me on the other.

奧馬爾：轉(zhuǎn)轉(zhuǎn)車子，我們都聽聽，你在一邊，我在另一邊。

Naomi: Okay, here goes. Hear that?

娜奧米：好，找到了，你聽到了嗎?

Omar: Yeah, but it’s more of a popping or pinging sound.

奧馬爾：恩，但更像是砰啪的聲音。

Naomi: It sounded different when I was riding it. I’ll get on and you run alongside. What do you hear?

娜奧米：和我騎車的時候，發(fā)出的聲音一樣。我騎上去，你在邊上騎，你聽見什么了?

Omar: I hear the whirring of the pedals and the creaking and rattling of the chain, but no clanging sound.

Naomi: I’ll speed up. What do you hear now?

娜奧米：我再騎快點，你聽到什么聲音了嗎?

Omar: Nothing, just the rustling of my own clothes.

奧馬爾：什么都沒聽到，我就能聽到我衣服的沙沙聲。

Naomi: The sound gets louder as I speed up. I’ll go faster. Now what do you hear?

娜奧米：我騎快了，聲音就更大了，我再騎快點，現(xiàn)在你聽到什么聲音了嗎?

Omar: Just my own panting and…my… last gasp…

奧馬爾：就是我自己的褲子發(fā)出的聲音還有我的喘息聲。
