It is going to be my father's birthday. What can I give him? I don't have much money. I have looked all through the stores, and I have not found anything that I think he would like or that I can afford. 

今天是我父親的生日。我能送他什么禮物呢？我沒有多少錢。我找遍了所有的商店，卻沒有找到任何我認(rèn)為他會喜歡或我買得起的東西。

I have thought very hard about what to buy for him. I thought that he might like some candy, but my father really doesn't eat many sweets. I thought that he might like a new shirt, but he has lots of clothes. I can't afford a new car or computer for him. 

我仔細(xì)考慮過要給他買什么。我想他可能會喜歡一些糖果，但我父親真的不吃太多糖果。我想他可能會喜歡一件新襯衫，但他有很多衣服。我買不起新車或新電腦給他。

Was watching him on the weekend, he cut the grass, washed the car, took out the garbage, weeded the garden and watered the plants. I got an idea. I went to my room and took out some paper. I cut out pieces of paper and I wrote on them. I wrote on one piece of paper that I would wash the car every weekend for the summer. 

周末我看著他，他割草、洗車、倒垃圾、除草和澆花。我想到了一個主意。我去了我的房間，拿出一些紙。我剪了一些紙片并在上面寫字。我在一張紙上寫道，我會在夏天每個周末洗車。

I wrote on another piece that I would take out the garbage every week for the summer. I also wrote that I would cut the grass, weed the garden, and water the plants every week for the summer. I made a birthday card for my dad and I put the pieces of paper inside it. 

我在另一張紙上寫道，我會在夏天每周倒垃圾。我還寫道，我會在夏天每周割草、除草和澆花。我為爸爸做了一張生日賀卡，并把紙片放在里面。

I went downstairs and gave my gift to my dad. My dad thought that the gift was very thoughtful. He said that it was a gift from the heart. I did all those things for my dad all summer. He said that he had a lot of free time because I helped him so much. 

我下樓把禮物送給爸爸。爸爸覺得這份禮物很貼心。他說這是一份發(fā)自內(nèi)心的禮物。整個夏天我都在為爸爸做這些事。他說他有很多空閑時間，因為我?guī)土怂芏嗝Α?/p>

My dad and I are good friends. I don't mind doing things for him because I know that he is always there to help me out. A good gift doesn't have to be something that costs a lot. My dad says that the best gifts are the ones that show how much you care for the other person. I'm glad my dad liked his gift.

我和爸爸是好朋友。我不介意為他做事，因為我知道他總是在幫助我。一份好的禮物不一定是昂貴的。爸爸說最好的禮物是那些能顯示出你對別人有多關(guān)心的禮物。我很高興爸爸喜歡他的禮物。
