嘴巴是人體最重要的部分之一,吃東西要靠它,表達意思也要靠它。然而,嘴巴也可能是一個危險工具。中國人常說:“病從口入,禍從口出”。在這個習(xí)語中bad和mouth之間有一個連接符號,即:bad-mouth。意思是“說某人的壞話,企圖損壞他人的名譽”。因此,對話中的“Don’t bad-mouth your parents. ”的意思是“不要老是說你的父母如何地不好。”
