第三屆中國國際進口博覽會開幕式11月4日在上海舉行，中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平以視頻方式發(fā)表主旨演講。習近平指出，新冠肺炎疫情給各國帶來嚴重沖擊，也給世界經(jīng)濟帶來重創(chuàng)。中國如期舉辦進博會，體現(xiàn)了中國同世界分享市場機遇、推動世界經(jīng)濟復蘇的真誠愿望。

President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech via video at the opening ceremony of the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) held in east China's Shanghai on November 4. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, said that this year's CIIE, convened as COVID-19 is hitting countries hard and dealing a heavy blow to the world economy, demonstrates China's sincere desire to share its market opportunities with the world and contribute to global economic recovery.

中國國際進口博覽會作為世界上第一個以進口為主題的大型國家級展會，包括展會和論壇兩個部分。展會即國家貿(mào)易投資綜合展和企業(yè)商業(yè)展，論壇即虹橋國際經(jīng)貿(mào)論壇。舉辦中國國際進口博覽會，是中國著眼于推動新一輪高水平對外開放作出的重大決策，是中國主動向世界開放市場的重大舉措。這體現(xiàn)了中國支持多邊貿(mào)易體制、推動發(fā)展自由貿(mào)易的一貫立場，是中國推動建設(shè)開放型世界經(jīng)濟、支持經(jīng)濟全球化的實際行動。

第三屆中國國際進口博覽會總展覽面積比上屆擴大近3萬平方米，設(shè)立六大展區(qū)：食品及農(nóng)產(chǎn)品展區(qū)、汽車展區(qū)、技術(shù)裝備展區(qū)、消費品展區(qū)、醫(yī)療器械及醫(yī)藥保健展區(qū)、服務(wù)貿(mào)易展區(qū);還新設(shè)公共衛(wèi)生防疫、節(jié)能環(huán)保、智慧出行和體育用品及賽事等4個專區(qū)。近50家世界500強和行業(yè)龍頭企業(yè)首次參展，還有數(shù)百個新產(chǎn)品、新技術(shù)和新服務(wù)全球首發(fā)。
