三、選擇疑問(wèn)句

選擇疑問(wèn)句（alternative question）的主要作用是讓對(duì)方根據(jù)所提供的信息進(jìn)行選擇。選擇疑問(wèn)句的主要特征是連詞or。朗讀時(shí)前一部分用升調(diào)，后一部分用降調(diào)。

（一）選擇疑問(wèn)句的結(jié)構(gòu)

從結(jié)構(gòu)上看，選擇疑問(wèn)句有兩種形式：1.一般形式；2.特殊形式。

1.一般形式：基本上和一般疑問(wèn)句同形，所不同的是選擇疑問(wèn)句會(huì)在一般疑問(wèn)句后面加了一個(gè)選擇部分?；拘问绞牵阂话阋蓡?wèn)句+含or的選擇部分

Do you like orange juice or apple juice？

Do you want to join the badminton club or basketball club？

Is your friend tall or short？

Can you skate or ski？

2.特殊形式：主要特點(diǎn)是前半部分為特殊疑問(wèn)句，后半部分為選擇疑問(wèn)句?；拘问剑禾厥庖蓡?wèn)句+含or的選擇部分

What do you like，tea or coffee？

Which one is the biggest，the moon，the earth or the sun？

Who broke the window，Tom or Jack？

（二）選擇疑問(wèn)句的回答方式

選擇疑問(wèn)句的回答不能用yes或no作回答，而是要根據(jù)實(shí)際情況，在疑問(wèn)句提供的答案中選擇一個(gè)回答。

—Do you like orange juice or apple juice？你喜歡橘子汁還是蘋(píng)果汁？

—I like orange juice.我喜歡橘子汁。

—Who broke the window，Tom or Jack？誰(shuí)打壞了窗子，Tom 還是Jack？

—Tom./ Tom did./ Tom broke the window.是Tom打壞了窗子。
