這天Catherine遇到一家公司，只經(jīng)過了一輪面試就通知她被錄取了，但是要求她交1000元的崗前培訓(xùn)費，Catherine將這件事告訴了Jenny，Jenny說"The company seems fishy." Catherine又不明白了，便問她是什么意思

C：I am hired by a company that interviewed me only once.But they asked for 1000 yuan as the training tuition.
C： 有個公司只面試了我一次就把我錄取了 但是他們要我交1000塊錢的培訓(xùn)費
J:：The company seems fishy.
J：這個公司聽起來很可疑
C:：Is it a company related to fish?
C：這個公司和魚有關(guān)系嗎？
J:：No.I mean the company seems to be cheating you.You should be careful.
J：不是。我的意思是這個公司好像在騙你。你要當心
C:：You are right .I will.
C：你說的對，我會的

 The company seems fishy.這個公司聽起來很可疑

fishy和fish很像，但是fishy這個詞的意思和魚沒什么關(guān)系。我們都知道魚是滑溜溜的，不好抓住。fishy這個詞就是從這個意思引申出去，成了“靠不住的，可疑的”意思

阿曼達：那家公司說，按照慣例他們要收200美元的培訓(xùn)費。
Carl:The company seems fishy.you should be careful.
