Redditor Elly Gibson, 25, wanted a place in her home that was fit for a king, so she grabbed some scissors, glue and paint and got straight to work.

“I was looking at this cardboard box, a shoebox for children’s boots that my mom had mailed me something in, and I was thinking I could make Arthur a new bed,” Elly told Just Something about her creation.

“I opened it up and it already kind of looked like a chair, so I thought I could make a throne, since we often call him King Arthur. And then I realized the best throne to make would be the Iron Throne.”

There was no great plan to the execution, Elly says she just kinda made it up as she went along. Beginning with a simple box, she first added cut-out swords, and then a base at the bottom which created the throne-like shape. A few details here and there, and it’s all starting to come together.
