2016年12月大學英語六級翻譯練習：人民幣升值

　　受到中國經(jīng)濟內(nèi)部動力(dynamics)和外來壓力的共同影響，人民幣近幾年來不斷升值(appreciate)。內(nèi)部影響主要有中國物價水平、通貨膨脹狀況、經(jīng)濟增長狀況以及利率水平，外部影響主要來自發(fā)達國家施加的壓力，尤其是日本和美國。人民幣升值會增加人民幣的購買力，擴大國內(nèi)消費者對進口產(chǎn)品的需求，還可以減輕進口能源和原料的成本負擔。但它會影響國內(nèi)金融市場的穩(wěn)定，使出口產(chǎn)品的成本上升，從而降低中國產(chǎn)品在國際市場上的競爭力。

Theinternal influences mainly include China's pricelevel, the situations of inflation and economicgrowth, as well as interest rate level, while the external influences mainly come from thepressures exerted by developed countries, Japan and America in particular. The appreciationof RMB will not only increase its purchasing power and expand domestic consumers' demandsfor imported goods, but also alleviate the cost burden of imported energies and raw materials.However, it may affect the stability of the domestic financial market and raise the cost ofexported products, which would reduce the competitive power of Chinese products in theglobal market.

　　1.第一句“人民幣近幾年來不斷升值”，時態(tài)要采用現(xiàn)在完成時，表示已經(jīng)發(fā)生并且還在持續(xù)。“受到的共同影響”可采用過去分詞作狀語，譯為influenced jointly by...。

　　2.第二句由兩部分組成，第一部分敘述內(nèi)部影響，第二部分敘述外部影響，可用while進行連接，表示對比。修飾“壓力”的定語“來自發(fā)達國家施加的”較長，可后置用過去分詞exertedby developed countries表取;也可譯為定語從句whichare exerted by...。

　　3.在“人民幣升值會增加…能源和原料的成本負擔”中，主語為“人民幣升值”，謂語動詞有三個：“增加”“擴大”和“減輕”，可以用not only... but also...銜接，體現(xiàn)隱含的遞進關(guān)系。

　　4.最后一句由三個分句組成，其中“從而降低…”可以理解成前面內(nèi)容造成的結(jié)果，因此在翻譯時可以將此層邏輯關(guān)系表達出來，用which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句補充說明結(jié)果。
