　　到2050年，我國65歲以上的人口將達到總人口數(shù)的約四分之一。由于死亡率(mortality rate)的降低和計劃生育政策(the One Child Policy)，中國人口正在高速老齡化。這將給中國政府帶來養(yǎng)老金難題，而且可能會降低中國未來的競爭力。隨著我國社會經(jīng)濟的迅猛發(fā)展,人民生活水平提高了,醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生服務也得到了改善。不少人對我國日益增多的老年人口表示十分擔憂。但有專家指出，一旦我們看到人口老齡化背后所蘊藏的貿(mào)易契機和豐富的才智經(jīng)驗，就會意識到老齡化雖然給我們帶來了巨大的壓力，但是我們可以將壓力轉化為機遇。
