　　人口老齡化(population ageing)是一個(gè)國(guó)家或地區(qū)年齡中值(median age)上升時(shí)出現(xiàn)的現(xiàn)象。其原因可能是人口壽命(life expectancy)的延長(zhǎng)和/或出生率的下降。在不久的將來(lái)，亞洲和歐洲兩個(gè)地區(qū)將有相當(dāng)?shù)膰?guó)家面臨人口老齡化問(wèn)題。人口老齡化對(duì)經(jīng)濟(jì)造成的影響是相當(dāng)大的。老年人比年輕人擁有更多的人均積蓄，但老年人在商品消費(fèi)上花費(fèi)較少。老齡化人口因此可能導(dǎo)致更低的利率。
