Miles: Didn't seem to me like that's what was going on.You were all over her.

Jack: Well, somebody had to do the talking. And, by the way, I was right--she's not married.

Miles: How do you know?

Jack: No rock. When she came to the bar, she was sans rock.

Miles: Oh.

妙語佳句，活學(xué)活用

1. crash

這里是俚語，意思是“to go to sleep”，比如：I think I’m gonna to crash. I’m so tired. 我想我得去睡覺了，我太累了。

2. I guess it's kind of a long drive up here.

Drive 這里用作名詞，表示“開車的旅程”，這里用了 up，很顯然，Miles 他們是從南往北走的。Up 和 down 常用來表示“北上南下”，因為“上北下南”么。比如：
