1. The rocket launched by nuclear-armed North Korea on Sunday appears to have fizzled in the Pacific Ocean. But it still got the international community worry that North Korea has the capacity to fire a long-range missile. Speaking from Prague, President Barack Obama condemned North Korea and called for immediate action from the UN Security Council.
2. Police in Binghamton say the gunman who killed 13 people at a community center had recently visited a firing range every week. But authorities say they still don't know why 41-year-old Jiverly Voong went on a shooting rampage at the American Civic Association.
3. Authorities near Tacoma are still trying to find a motive behind the murders of five children, apparently by their father. Authorities say the 34-year-old father later killed himself several miles away. The children ranged in age from 16 to seven years old.
4. And hundreds of pilgrims gathered to celebrate Palm Sunday in Jerusalem. The service marks the start of the Catholic Church's solemn Holy Week. Palm Sunday Mass was also held at a church in Gaza City.
