1. Authorities have searched the home of the man they say is responsible for killing 13 people and then killing himself at a Binghamton, New York immigration center. One law enforcement officer, speaking anonymously, says the man's name Jiverly Voong is thought to be an alias. And the area's congressman says he was recently laid off by IBM.

2. An 89-year-old Ohio man who has been branded a Nazi guard won't be deported from the US at least for now. An immigration judge has ordered the deportation of John Demjanjuk to be put on hold until the court decides whether to reopen the US case ordering his removal.

3. Gay rights activists are celebrating the Iowa Supreme Court's decision to strike down the state's ban on same-sex marriage. The justices ruled that the ban violated the state's constitution.

4. A federal judge has rejected Michael Vick's plan to emerge from bankruptcy, telling the suspended NFL star to rethink how he'll pay back his creditors. Vick told the judge he's optimistic about playing pro football, but the judge said there is no guarantee the league will reinstate him.
