It was an ordinary morning in the school．After the bell rang to inform everybody of the ten-minute break，the teacher went on giving the lesson，accelerating her writing on the blackboard．All the students in the class were so accustomed to the teachers' prolonging their teaching time that they kept sitting still in their seats，taking notes，completely ignoring the ringing bell．Eventually，the teacher dismissed the class and walked out of the classrooms，piles of teaching materials in hand．However，only a few students rose from their seats，heading for the washrooms．The majority were quite content to remain on their chairs：some buried their faces in the books to take a nap，others chatted or told jokes，and still others focused on what the teacher had just taught，trying to master or digest every detail of the new knowledge．

I have to admit the learning atmosphere here is extremely motivating，but as for the precious ten-minute break after class，I'd like to make some suggestions．On the one hand，the teachers are supposed to have a stronger sense of time．The specially set ten minutes is for students to take a break from the forty-minute class and to ease their mind a little in order to have better concentration in the following classes．On the other hand，the students ought to take advantage of this opportunity to walk around or stretch their body to rescue themselves from the intensity of study by relieving tiredness，which may potentially improve the efficiency and benefit their health both physically and mentally．

In a word，the way the ten-minute after-class time is spent leaves much to be desired．Both teachers and students should manage to change a little to make a difference．
