邁克爾·費(fèi)爾德（Michael Field）即凱瑟琳·布拉德蕾（Katherine Bradley，1846-1914）和伊迪斯·庫珀（Edith Cooper，1862-1913）。邁克爾·費(fèi)爾德是英國(guó)十九世紀(jì)末二十世紀(jì)初這兩位女性作家合用的筆名。凱瑟琳是伊迪斯的姨媽。倆人共同生活，感情篤深。她們合作寫戲劇、詩歌，并共同游歷旅行。她們共作有25部戲劇作品和8部詩集。1885年，她們出版了以薩福為題材的合作詩集《很久以前》。早期詩作多取材古典文學(xué)，注重感官，描寫愛欲，有一種神秘主義的情調(diào)。晚年她們雙雙皈依羅馬天主教，詩歌中表現(xiàn)出更濃郁的宗教氣氛。詩作有《崇拜集》（1912），《神秘的樹》（1913）。

在四月下旬，一天早晨，

Shakespeare was born;
