雙語詩歌翻譯|虞世南-《賦得臨池竹應(yīng)制》

這首詩是虞世南酬和唐太宗《賦得臨池竹》的應(yīng)制詩。太宗詩曰：“貞條障曲砌，翠葉負(fù)寒霜。拂牖分龍影，臨池待鳳翔。“虞世南總是以學(xué)問淵博的類書編纂者、文化上自鳴得意的南方人及儒家道德家的綜合面目出現(xiàn)的。虞世南同唐太宗唱和時(shí)，流露出一種洋洋自得的教師語氣，使他難堪，這極大地考驗(yàn)了這位皇帝的耐性。

On the Bamboo Looking Down on the Pool: To Imperial Command

Pa1e azure and substance of highest c1ouds,

Their bright colors fall, shine back in the clear pool.

Waves float their ref1ect ion full of wind,

And current shakes branches that fend off the dew.

Dragon scales drifting in Hsieh Valley,

Phoenix wings brushing the ripples.

But if you want to see their nature that lasts the winter,

It can only be known in the cold of the year.
