AT A FAREWELL BANQUET IN THE PAVILION OF FLOATING JADE
Green trees darken the Pavilion Long;
I drink adieu once and again.
Often I hate to hear the farewell song,
陽關(guān)常?
Not to say of the autumn day
When I’m to go far, far away.
Silk scarfs wet with tears flowing,
Each of us is broken-hearted.
How could a riverful of parting grief be parted?
Where could I find the river-barring iron chain
To stop the grief from overflowing!
