禁閉島 |
No.10 - Shutter Island
《禁閉島》
Martin Scorsese hasn’t done horror since Cape Fear, but he’s back at it again. Scorsese’s pinup boyLeonardo DiCaprio and the tragically underrated Mark Ruffalo star astwo U.S. marshals investigating a woman’s disappearance on a prisonisland for the criminally insane. It looks grotesque and psychologically earth-shattering from a glimpse at the trailer and it boasts anall-star roster that includes the fetching Emily Mortimer (sigh),Michelle Williams, Ben Kingsley, Max von Sydow, and Jackie Earle Haley. The release date shuffle is a bad omen, though. Shutter Island wassupposed to be in theaters last October before it was unexpectedlydumped this February, where most stinkers go. But we have faith inScorsese and a cast that reads like a list of Oscar nominees。
No.9 - Robin Hood
《羅賓漢》
After one glimpse at the trailer where a bloodied, disheveled-looking Russell Crowe takesdevil-eyed aim through his bow and arrow, you already know that this isnot the Robin Hood that Bryan Adams swoons to. Ridley Scott’smuch-anticipated adaptation of the medieval criminal is not going to vilify the folk hero as was reported back when the movie was stillcalled Nottingham. But the new movie looks epic, like Gladiator-epic,giving the Prince of Thieves a grittier polish and a conceivable historical background. And you know you can’t gowrong with the accomplished Cate Blanchett filling in Maid Marian’swardrobe. Let’s just hope the studio doesn’t make the director hack an hour off the movie like they did with Kingdom of Heaven, because in that case we might as well wait for yet another Ridley Scott director’scut。
本片講述了一個三角戀的故事,發(fā)生在傳奇人物羅賓漢、少女瑪麗安和羅賓漢最強勁的對手——諾丁漢的郡長之間。
盜夢空間 |
No.8 - Inception
《盜夢空間》
We know next to nothing about the closely guarded plot of Inception, but we'll bank on this Leonardo DiCaprio vehicle anyway. It’s a sci-fi detective story that takes place within “the architecture of the mind” and it’sdirected by Christopher Nolan, he who gave The Dark Knight box-officewings and gave us one of the best psychological thrillers in decades with Memento. Inception promises blackmail, corporate malfeasance and some Matrix-style ass kicking, and with Nolan behind the camera we’rebetting it can’t go wrong
