世博園里“變廢為寶”

上海世博會的籌備和舉辦全程都貫徹“低碳世博”的環(huán)保理念，光是從世博園內(nèi)的垃圾分類和變廢為寶舉措就可以看到本屆世博會為環(huán)保做出的努力。

At the ongoing World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, reporters saw many displays demonstrating all kinds of eco-friendly ways to  turn waste into treasure.

在正在舉行的2010上海世博會上，記者在許多展示中目睹了各種變廢為寶的環(huán)保舉措。

在上面的報(bào)道中，turn waste into treasure就是我們常說的“變廢為寶”。在best urban practice exhibition area（城市最佳實(shí)踐展區(qū)），游客們可以看見clear classification of garbage（對垃圾的清晰分類），各種不同的trash can作用不同，有的是裝food waste的，有的裝glass bottles，有的裝paper and cartons，還有的裝plastic and metal。

在經(jīng)過treatment and recycling（處理和回收）后，food waste可以作為fertilizer（肥料），產(chǎn)生biogas（沼氣），殘?jiān)捎脕礓伮?，有?strong>non-recoverable waste（不可回收垃圾）還可以用來發(fā)電。這些展示提供了許多環(huán)保靈感。

世博園內(nèi)還有很多環(huán)保設(shè)施，例如zero-carbon house（節(jié)能房）、footstep-absorbing floor space（踩踏能量吸收地板）、cork wall（軟木墻板）、air tree（空氣樹）等等。
