Cat Hating Husband

A man hated his wife’s cat and he decided to get rid of it. He drove 20 blocks away from home and dropped the cat there. The cat was already walking up the driveway when he approached his home.

The next day，he decided to drop the cat 40 blocks away but the same thing happened. He kept on increasing the number of blocks but the cat kept on coming home before him. At last he decided to drive a few miles away，turn right，then left，past the bridge，then right again and another right and so on until he reached what he thought was a perfect spot and dropped the cat there.

Hours later，the man called his wife at home and asked her，“Jean，is the cat there？”“Yes，why do you ask？”answered the wife. Frustrated the man said，“Put that cat on the phone，I am lost and I need directions.”

一男子非常討厭他妻子的貓，決心丟掉它。他把車開(kāi)到離家二十個(gè)街區(qū)的地方，扔下了貓。當(dāng)他快到家時(shí)，發(fā)現(xiàn)貓正沿著車道漫步呢。

第二天，他決定把貓扔在離家四十個(gè)街區(qū)遠(yuǎn)的地方，但結(jié)果貓還是回來(lái)了。他一次次把貓扔在離家越來(lái)越遠(yuǎn)的街區(qū)，但貓每次都比他提前到家。最后，他決定駕車到幾十英里以外，先向右轉(zhuǎn)，再向左轉(zhuǎn)，過(guò)了一座橋，然后向右轉(zhuǎn)，接著再向右轉(zhuǎn)，最后他到達(dá)了一個(gè)自己認(rèn)為最適合的地方，把貓扔在了那兒。

幾個(gè)小時(shí)后，男子打電話給家里的妻子問(wèn)道：“珍，貓?jiān)诩覇幔?rdquo;“是的，你問(wèn)這干嗎？”妻子回答說(shuō)。男子垂頭喪氣地說(shuō)：“讓貓接電話，我迷路了，讓它告訴我怎么回家。”
