China's State Council has released a plan for the development of the country's elderly care services system during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), in its latest step to implement a national strategy to address population aging. The plan specifies major goals and tasks for the five-year period, including expanding elderly care services, improving the health support system for the elderly, and advancing innovative and integrated development of service models.
為貫徹落實積極應對人口老齡化國家戰(zhàn)略,國務院日前印發(fā)《“十四五”國家老齡事業(yè)發(fā)展和養(yǎng)老服務體系規(guī)劃》,明確了“十四五”時期的主要目標和工作任務,包括養(yǎng)老服務供給不斷擴大,老年健康支撐體系更加健全,為老服務多業(yè)態(tài)創(chuàng)新融合發(fā)展等。
It lists nine major indicators, such as the number of elderly care beds and the ratio of nursing care beds in elderly care institutions, to mobilize society as a whole to actively respond to population aging.
《規(guī)劃》還明確了養(yǎng)老服務床位總量、養(yǎng)老機構護理型床位占比等9個主要指標,推動全社會積極應對人口老齡化格局初步形成。
