兩名自行車手在墨西哥遇難

The bodies of Holger Hagenbusch, from Germany, and Krzysztof Chmielewski, from Poland, were foundat the bottom of a cliff in Chiapas state.

近日，德國(guó)人霍爾格·哈根布殊和波蘭人克日什托夫·齊米耶夫斯基的尸體在恰帕斯州懸崖的底部被發(fā)現(xiàn)。

Local authorities had said the pair appeared to havefallen after losing control.

However, relatives and fellow cyclists suspected itwas more sinister, and had called for a deeperinvestigation.

但是他們的親戚和其他自行車手表示懷疑，認(rèn)為這件事情的真相更加邪惡，并要求進(jìn)行更加深入的調(diào)查。

The newly appointed special prosecutor, Luis Alberto Sanchez, said that they were killed in whatappears to have been a robbery.

最新任命的特別檢察官路易斯·阿爾貝托·桑切斯稱，他們似乎是在一起搶劫事件中被殺害的。

"Our investigations up to now indicate this was an intentional homicide," he said.

Chmielewski's body was found first, 40 metres below the road, on 26 April. Hagenbusch wasfound eight days later -- on 4 May -- further down the ravine.

The regional attorney general in Chiapas, Arturo Pablo Lievano, originally said there was noevidence of bad intent and everything pointed to an accident.

起初，恰帕斯的地區(qū)檢察長(zhǎng)阿圖羅·巴勃羅·列瓦諾聲稱并沒有證據(jù)顯示這起事故是惡意的，所有證據(jù)均指向這是一場(chǎng)意外。

However, Hagenbusch's brother, Reiner, told the German press he believed they had beenkilled and there had been some sort of attempted cover-up.

但是哈根布殊的哥哥雷納向德國(guó)媒體透露，他相信他們是被殺害的，現(xiàn)場(chǎng)存在刻意的掩飾。

After travelling to Mexico to identify his brother's body, he also found out information aboutthe Polish biker.

在到墨西哥辨認(rèn)弟弟的尸體后，他還發(fā)現(xiàn)了一些關(guān)于那位波蘭騎行者的信息。

"The Polish cyclist was decapitated and had a foot missing," he wrote on Facebook. Investigators now believe that the pair were assaulted on either the 19 or 20 April.
