話費(fèi)月超150元取消貧困生資格 (雙語)

貧困生資格認(rèn)定是各高校面臨的共同問題，由于范圍廣、數(shù)量大、監(jiān)管難，貧困生庫(kù)可能會(huì)摻入一些并非真正貧困的學(xué)生。5月6日，江蘇大學(xué)學(xué)生工作處在對(duì)貧困生話費(fèi)進(jìn)行大規(guī)模調(diào)查后，取消了21人的貧困生資格，并將32人從家庭經(jīng)濟(jì)特殊困難降級(jí)為一般困難。

　　Defining the poverty status of students is a common problem faced by all universities. Due to the wide range of students, large numbers, and difficulties with supervision, it is unavoidable that a poverty students' pool would contain some students that aren't suffering from poverty. 　　The poverty status of 21 students was canceled, while 32 students had their poverty level downgraded at Jiangsu University on May 6th, after the university conducted an investigation into the mobile phone expenses of poor students.

　　去年底，江蘇大學(xué)調(diào)查了非畢業(yè)班近4500名貧困生10-11月的手機(jī)消費(fèi)情況。調(diào)查結(jié)果顯示，約92%的貧困生手機(jī)月消費(fèi)在100元以下；6.5%的貧困生在100-150元的消費(fèi)區(qū)間；1.5%的貧困生消費(fèi)超過150元；極個(gè)別消費(fèi)額甚至超過300元。

　　The university investigated nearly 4,500 poor students by analyzing their mobile phone expenses from October and November last year.The findings showed that about 92 percent of the targeted students had an average monthly payment below 100 yuan (15 US dollars), 6.5 percent of students paid between 100 and 150 yuan and 1.5 percent of students paid higher than 150 yuan per month.

　　該校對(duì)月平均消費(fèi)100-150元的同學(xué)采取降級(jí)處理，對(duì)月平均消費(fèi)超過150元的同學(xué)取消貧困生資格。江蘇大學(xué)的院級(jí)團(tuán)委老師李犇表示，貧困生的準(zhǔn)確認(rèn)定是高校資助工作的前提與基礎(chǔ)。

　　The university decided the poverty level of students whose average monthly expenses were between 100 and 150 yuan be downgraded, and the poverty status of students whose average monthly expenses exceeded 150 yuan be canceled.A senior official of Jiangsu University said "accurate definition of poverty students is the prerequisite and basis of accurate poverty relief."
