世界上最年長(zhǎng)貓咪，39歲高齡

 

Cat Lucy is thought to be the oldest in the world after its 39th birthday. She is now living in South Wales, UK.

現(xiàn)年39歲的貓咪露西被認(rèn)為是世界上最年長(zhǎng)的貓。如今它居住在英國(guó)的南威爾士。

Compared with an average cat that could only live for 15 years, Lucy has more than doubled her life expectancy - she was born in 1972 and has clocked up the equivalent of 172 human years, according to cat experts. And some people say they can verify seeing her in the fish and chip shop in the early seventies.

與那些壽命僅有15年的普通貓咪相比，露西的生命似乎延長(zhǎng)了1倍。她出生于1972年，據(jù)貓科專家稱，她如今的年齡相當(dāng)于人類的172歲。甚至還有人證實(shí)稱，早在上世紀(jì)70年代初期就可見(jiàn)到露西在魚(yú)店和薯?xiàng)l店進(jìn)進(jìn)出出。

Now although deaf, Lucy catches mice in the garden, still in good shape and extremely independent.

雖然耳朵有些聾，露西還能在花園捉老鼠，而且身材保持的不錯(cuò)，個(gè)性也很獨(dú)立。

Until now the world's oldest recorded cat was a pet called Puff from Texas, USA, which lived for 38 years and three days. However, a spokesman for Guinness World Records said there was no entry for the world's oldest cat.

此前，世界上最年長(zhǎng)的貓是一只生活在美國(guó)得克薩斯州名叫普夫的貓，活了38歲零3天。但據(jù)吉尼斯世界紀(jì)錄委員會(huì)發(fā)言人說(shuō)，目前還沒(méi)有“世界上最年長(zhǎng)貓”的條目。
