　　Manitowoc, Wisconsin

　　In September 1962, a chunk of glowing debris from Sputnik 4—one of the first Earth-orbiting satellites, launched by the Soviet Union—fell from the sky onto a street in downtown Manitowoc. The Russians reclaimed the piece, but the town hosts an annual festival to commemorate its arrival. Highlights: a Miss Space Debris contest—costumes made out of aluminum foil are common—and an Artta This World art fair.

　　1962年9月，人造衛(wèi)星4號(hào)的殘骸從太空墜落到馬尼托沃克的街道上，這個(gè)衛(wèi)星是前蘇聯(lián)發(fā)射的第一批人造地球衛(wèi)星中的一個(gè)。雖然后來(lái)俄國(guó)人要回了殘骸，但是這個(gè)小鎮(zhèn)每年都要紀(jì)念一下這顆衛(wèi)星的造訪。注意！這不僅是為紀(jì)念一顆隕落衛(wèi)星的競(jìng)賽，因?yàn)閰①愓咭碇射X箔做成的服裝，更是一場(chǎng)世界藝術(shù)盛宴。
